Botany Bay Johnsons Hillock
The weather was the usual overcast start to the day.
The Memsahib was having a shower, when we ran out of water. So it was suddenly time for a dash up the Johnsons Hillock flight and on to the water point! We shared the locks with Nb Coco De Mer.

It was so good we decided to stop here for the day. We hung some clothes out to dry on the rotary dryer on the tiller. Then we decided that it was a good time to put the dogs in the shower. Poppy likes the shower and enjoys playing in the water. Abbey does not like to get anything wet, its always much more interesting when giving Abbey a shower!
It was a day for people watching by watching people who in turn are watching people on boats operating the locks. As boats pass through they ask about how the locks work. However, when the next boat enters the lock, they ask the same question again. I think it's to do with needing to get the information in stereo.
Then it's the turn of the towpath walkers who stop for a pint at the pub, who want a potted life history and to know all there is to know about the boat. In return they give you their life story which seems to last until the drink is finished. I think that beer should only be served in half's.
