The Big One (14-1)

Gas Street Basin (Shepcote Street Bridge)

Sunday 1st July 2012

A quiet day was planned just outside of Gas Street basin. We even managed to find and move into a quieter spot amongst the mooring. The Memsahib did a bit of serious shopping with Steph and after four hours around Birmingham Bullring returned with a toy for the dogs.

I will be doing a bit of catch up work around the boat.  A boat moored nearby gave one of the dogs a treat. We have all shared in the treat as a consequence. It has given her a bout of very pungent flatulence.

We are out for a meal this evening - home made pizza and a couple of beers. Then its the European Cup Final with Spain -v- Italy. My money is on Spain to win and Mario Balotelli to get a red card.
