The boat is going to be repainted at some time. The paint is getting a bit harder to keep clean and shiny. We did think about doing it this year. But then the idea of spending some quality time cruising the canals and rivers seemed to be a much more sensible option.
Painting the boat is a frequent point of discussion. It seems a simple choice to make. However, with the Memsahib colours and styles play a big part as does combining colour options together. Mixing and matching different schemes including the curtains. Then the penny dropped, with a rather large clang. I had what might have been described euphemistically as a road to Damascus experience. I saw the light - well a rainbow if you must!
