Hawne Basin to Oouzel Street Loop.

Date:  13/09/2017

Overnight the weather cold and odd short showers. By morning it was a uniform grey sky but no rain.

Morning:  Late start after doing a few preparations.
Weather improved and at times was quite warm. We just chugged along heading for Gosty Tunnel and then via Windmill End heading for to Netherton Tunnel.
 

Afternoon:  The sun was quite hot by lunch time. Which coincided with the start of a 3 hour chug into the centre of Birmingham and Oouzel Street Loop. Arrived late afternoon and filled the last place available on the loop.

Evening: 
Noticed that the solar panels were mainly in the shadows for most of the time.

Wildlife:  Rat and Grey Squirrel.

Birds: House Sparrow, Magpie, Carrion Crow, Rook, Starling, Blackbird, Mallard, Pied Wagtail, Robin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Coot, Moorhen, Canadian Goose, Kingfisher, Grey Heron, Wood Pigeon, Buzzard, Thrush, Herring Gull, Greater Black Backed Gull, Lesser Black Backed Gull, Black Headed Gull, Common Tern and Jay.


Butterflies: Meadow Brown, Common White, Small White and Comma.


Bats: Pipistrelle, Daubentons,

Dragonflies: Four Spot Chaser.
