Spanish News for the English (4)

The 'Spanish News for the English' 2016 is a tongue in cheek service, in support of European Multiculturalism for English Pensionistas (pensioners) Pensionistas who are considering a different type of winter break. This time as an alternative to the more usual break of an ankle, leg or arm due to the inclement UK weather.

Seeing as we have been a bit busy sending spaceships and space landers to Mars over the last few decades. It seems only fair that the 'green' folk of Mars might well want to reciprocate the complement with an Earth rover of their own.

A third in a series of mysterious black objects as now fallen from the sky into a small area of rural Spain. This has now caused some fear among locals. The latest of the strange looking black orbs was found in the village of Villavieja in Murcia. Becoming the latest instance of an increasingly bewildering phenomenon. It's not yet known what the objects are, though theories range from UFOs to pieces of space debris. I think it is a Martian Earth Rover vehicle myself. Just like the one the late Prof Colin Pillinger sent to Mars, the Martian ones have failed to to survive the landing.

The first instance of the strange phenomenon occurred in Calasparra, Murcia. when Spanish goat herders discovered a strange object, which apparently bears a striking resemblance to the Star Wars torture device, the IT-O Interrogator. The goat herders alerted the Civil Guard to investigate and the area was subsequently put under quarantine. The mystery object is not radioactive or explosive. It was taken away for further analysis. However, a few days later a second similar orb fell from the sky.

Jose Velez, the mayor of Calasparra, implored authorities to provide answers for worried residents. 'Where are these objects coming from? Why are they falling here precisely?' The Civil Guard stated the object was an aerospace artefact and pointed to the possibility that it fell from a rocket or a satellite. Mayor Velez claims it was a more concerning issue than the authorities were letting on, he added: 'Citizens have real concerns about what is happening and deserve an explanation.'

Its thought that this will initiate a further round of internet green monster speculation and all the usual government cover up conspiracy theories.
