Overnight the weather was in the main raining
Morning: The weather was such that we decided to just sit it out. The only boats on the move were hire boats with their crews on a mission.
Afternoon: Just after lunch the weather improved and we filled up with water. Then set off to do the Fradley flight. Each lock had a boat coming downhill. So we were soon up the flight and on our way to Rugely. Running the washing machine and we had two loads done in no time at all. A few boats seen coming the other way. The towpath was almost devoid of anyone using it.
Evening: Settled down for an evening of television.

Birds: House Sparrow, Tree Sparrow, Dunnock, Wren, Magpie, Carrion Crow, Rook, Blackbird, Mallard, Mute Swan, Goldfinch, Chiffchaff, Chaffinch, Robin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Coot, Moorhen, Grey Lag Goose, Canadian Goose, Grey Heron, Wood Pigeon, Kestrel, Buzzard, Thrush, Black Headed Gull, Common Tern, Sedge Warbler, Swallow, House Martin, Swift and Pheasant.
