Spring Summer Cruse 2015 ❾

Overnight the weather was overcast and windy. 

Morning: Late leisurely breakfast before getting the boat ready to cruise. A few boats passed by in both directions while we were moored up.

Afternoon: Just after lunch we loaded up the washing machine ready to do a wash as we cruised to Willington. A few people (around a dozen) to be found walking the towpath and two fishermen noted.

Evening: A quiet night watching TV as the rains arrived.

Wildlife:

Birds: House Sparrow, Magpie, Carrion Crow, Rook, Blackbird, Mallard, Mute Swan, Robin,  Pied Wagtail, Coot, Waterhen, Wood Pigeon,  Collared Dove, Buzzard, Black Headed Gull,  Swallow, House Martin, Swift, Tufted Duck, and Oyster Catcher the highlight being a Jay.
