Newark (Cow Lane Bridge)
The moorings were very busy today. Looks like a lot of boaters are taking advantage of the long weekend. There are still a few spare places left on the moorings. I checked the tank and I need to get some diesel in the tank ready for our next move. I hope the local marina is open for business over the bank holiday.
Had a walk into Newark market place. Markets are not what they used to be. If you need a mobile phone case or a vacuum cleaner belt the outdoor market is the place for you. But local grown fresh from the farm produce seemed to be at a premium.
Newark has a jubilee parade organised for tomorrow - lets hope the weather is kind and that the local kids get a great day out.
