Spring Summer Cruse 2015 ❻❾

Braunston to  Rugby VM

Overnight the weather was clear and cold.

Morning: Light rain shower as we had breakfast. The canal was very busy with about 20 boats on the move. A few near miss on  Braunston Turn. Then it was time to say goodbye to our friends.

Afternoon: Lunch time we departed for the Hilmorton flight and then onto Rugby for some shopping.

Evening:  A meal out at the Steam Turbine and then an evening of TV with Strictly and Pru and Tim on the canal in France.

Birds: House Sparrow, Magpie, Carrion Crow, Rook, Jackdaw, Starling, Mallard, Mute Swan, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Robin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Coot, Moorhen, Canadian Goose, Grey Heron, Wood Pigeon, Kestrel, Black Headed Gull, Sedge Warbler, Swallow, House Martin and Green Woodpecker.
