Overnight the weather was clear and cold.
Morning: Messing around with a late breakfast. Then off to the facilities block for a pumpout. While we were waiting our turn the boat on the moorings was emptying a cassette when the engine stopped. A quick check said - the diesel tank was empty. So I gave them a hand to bow haul their boat back a few yards so that we could get in. We has spotted a canal side business selling gas and diesel. The price was good so we called in and topped up the tank, plus filled a couple of 25 litre jerry cans.
Afternoon: Retraced our steps and had a steady plod back to Gloucester. Plenty of space on the moorings, which has been one noticeable fact about our cruise along the River Severn and Gloucester Sharpness Canal. Memsahib, went shopping at Sainsbury before disappearing into town for a few hours to visit dress shops.
Evening: Witherspoon for our evening meal. It was a rare opportunity for ham egg and chips for me. A bit of late night TV with the last in the question time series.

Birds: Magpie, Carrion Crow, Rook, Jackdaw, Starling, Blackbird, Mallard, Mute Swan, Chiffchaff, Pied Wagtail, Coot, Moorhen, Cormorant, Canadian Goose, Kingfisher, Great Crested Grebe, Grey Heron, Wood Pigeon, Buzzard, Herring Gull, Greater Black Backed Gull, Lesser Black Backed Gull, Black Headed Gull, Sedge Warbler, Swallow, House Martin and Swift.
Butterflies: Meadow Brown, Skipper and Comma
