Overnight the weather was cool and clear.
Morning: Heavy mist hanging over the water. Late leisurely breakfast. Steady cruise with all the locks in our favour as the gates are left open, its been a treat to wiz through the locks. At the Pershore lock we stopped to take on water and a visit to the ASDA supermarket.
Afternoon: The route is very scenic with much to hold out attention. Some properties with huge gardens including tennis courts and in one case a 4 hole mini golf course!
Evening: Watched TV.
Wildlife:
Birds: Magpie, Carrion Crow, Rook, Jackdaw, Blackbird, Mallard, Mute Swan, Chiffchaff, Robin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Pied Wagtail, Long Tailed Tit, Coot, Moorhen, Grey Lag Goose, Canadian Goose, Kingfisher, Grey Heron, Wood Pigeon, Kestrel, Buzzard, Black Headed Gull, Sedge Warbler, Swallow, House Martin and Swift the highlight being a pair of Green Woodpeckers.
