Spring Summer Cruise 2014 ❶❺

Dunstan Fen to Kirkstead Bridge

Overnight weather was gusts of wind and heavy rain that was interspersed with lighter showers of rain.

Morning: A steady slow cruise along the canal. We had the pramtop up as the anticipated rain arrived with a huge half hour long downpour. No other boats were on the move.

Afternoon: Time for a walk into Woodhall Spa to do a bit of shopping. Back in time to enjoy half an hour of sunshine before another tropical strength downpour! Another boater was trying to do some maintenance on his boat between the showers.

Evening: An evening of television with a Harry Potter film. I quite like the special effects. Such films capture the imagination of kids of all ages.
