Spring Cruise 2013 (10)

West Stockwith Basin

Weather: A very pleasant morning with enough sunshine to bathe the dogs on the wharfside!  But still need to dress up warm against the wind chill. The sun was enjoyable whenever it broke through the clouds.

36 hour layover at West Stockwith waiting for a suitable tide for the River Trent. A good night in the Stockwith yacht club, clubhouse. After sending out for a chinese takeaway. Brewers Troop was the beer of choice.

Wildlife: Rabbits - rabbits and even more rabbits. Heaven for the dogs with so many to chase - saves throwing the ball.
