The Big One (21-6)

Tuesday 4th September 2012

Castleford Cut.

The sunset was quite remarkable last night. But it was a close run thing with the sunrise this morning.

A full day for me as I had to do a few chores which needed a trip to Sheffield to complete. A bit of running around in the car followed by a relaxing trip back to Sunny Castleford on Sea. This was completed free of charge by travelling on  Northern Rail. Because we live in the old "Peoples Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire" we can also use our bus passes on the railways as well. "Power to the People!!!"

We had an early start by calling into "The Griffin" pub, which is a popular boaters watering hole. Whilst enjoying a flagon of amber nectar we ordered an Indian take-away to be delivered.

Another quiet relaxing day!
