Castleford.
A quiet day enjoying the sunshine. We had a short walk across the fields to Allerton Bywater to visit the "Boat" pub for a Sunday carvery. Good food and portion control was not in evidence.
We moved the boat away from the noisy boat and their late night boom box leisure listening. One of the locals pointed out that what we had encountered was a regular weekend event. The boom box is used to mask the noise of the engine which they liked to run late into the night.
