Spring Summer Cruise 2014 ❹❷

Fazeley to   Minworth Green Bridge

Overnight weather was very cold with a chill wind.

Morning: Bright sunshine and boats on the move quite early. Filled up at the waterpoint before heading onto a new canal for us - the 'Birmingham and Fazeley Canal'.

Afternoon:
Arrived at Minworth Green Bridge and decided to stop for lunch. Then decided to stop for the day.
 
Evening: Quiet night with the TV.

Wildlife:

Birds: House Sparrow, Dunnock, Wren, Carrion Crow, Rook, Magpie, Starling, Blackbird, Mallard, Mute Swan, Chiffchaff, Chaffinch, Robin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Pied Wagtail, Coot, Waterhen,  Wood Pigeon, Kestrel, Common Tern, Arctic Tern, Sedge Warbler, Swallow, House Martin, Swift, Buzzard, Pheasant and the highlight being a Kingfisher.

Butterflies: Meadow Brown, Comma and  Orange Tip 
Bats: Pipistrelle,  Daubentons,
Dragonflies: Banded Damselfly, Common Damselfly, Red Darter, Four Spot Chaser.
