May Caption Competition

The May Caption Competition.

The caption competition is intended for you to be able to display your prowess at providing a pithy and witty caption. One that has a watery theme to it at the same time. This months judging panel consists of Dietician  Anna Recksiek, Interior Designer Annette Curtain, Hair Dresser Barbara Seville, Vegetarian Brock Lee, Restaurant Owner Chris P. Bacon, Dancer Corey O. Graff, Palaeontologist Dinah Soares, Boat Builder Evan Keel, Actor Frank Enstein and Tony Hales winner of the lifetime achievement award for breathing.

The bottom is a bit near the top!
The dredger missed this bit!

There are no prizes as the blog meister is a cheapskate and tight fisted old curmudgeon. But you will reluctantly get a mention in the captains blog. You can submit your entry on the back of a ten pound note, two five pound notes or by using the comments feature below. (now we will find out who the cheapskates are)

The April competition was won by Heth with "Calm down Tin Chen, my other leg flew over yonder - so you're safe now"

  1. 2 weeks ago whilst being interviewed by a reporter from The Sun:

"Tell me Mr Floater, why are you sitting on a sandbank in your rowing boat? Don't you know we're in drought & there's no water?"

Mr Floater "I'm sat here waiting for next week to arrive, & this is a modified surfboard."
