Even more rain fell overnight and the sky was still overcast by dawn. A cool wind was circling round the marina. When a boat left we were able to find a place on the visitor moorings.
Morning: Dog walking and later we enjoyed a trip to Halfords. First at the White Rose shopping complex where we found there isn't a branch. Then we went to the Crown Point retail park and shopping complex where once again there wasn't another one! So much for Google!
Afternoon: Watched the rain run down the windows. Had a trip to Maplins on Regent Street. I'm pleased to report there is one. But confusingly the front door is round the back.
Evening: Watched a bit more rain then settled down with a Harry Potter film as we await the football highlights. Swansea 1 Manchester United 4 a good away win to start the new era under David Moyes.
