Summer Cruise 2013 (22)

Skipton

Even more rain fell overnight and the sky was still overcast by dawn. A few showers during the day.

Morning: Another lazy morning watching the world go by. Downloading a few podcasts on the iPod.

Afternoon: We moved down onto the water point in the centre of Skipton. I filled up our almost empty tank. There were a couple of boats sliding into a large gap opposite the water point. I asked them to close the boats together and that would leave me enough room to moor Rosie. The two boaters refused leaving gaps of around fifteen feet between their boats and the other boats already moored up. You meet all kinds on the canal.

Evening: Another night of reading and watching television. Did a bit of meteor spotting but nothing to report.

Wildlife: Nothing to report.
