The boat she was on did not have another trip organised for the next three weeks. There were also huge queues at petrol stations. The Nile was short of water in places and they were held up in Esna for 24 hours while some water was flushed down. Sounds a bit like the Wigan Flight ;-)

Might be a while before normal service is resumed.

regards

MickMike and Poppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14252646448078744534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-725926446980545183.post-57781803251871404832013-01-14T19:57:43.866+00:002013-01-14T19:57:43.866+00:00One of the best holidays we have had the Nile crui...One of the best holidays we have had the Nile cruise. I am pleased the tourist industry is getting back in gear in Egypt, it is a special place to visit.

Nev NB PercyNev Wellshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07047359519459723079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-725926446980545183.post-22068873175887702282013-01-14T17:31:08.785+00:002013-01-14T17:31:08.785+00:00Hi Geoff. You might have helped me with deciding on the location. I was thinking of co-locating in a cupboard with the inverter. Sounds like I should look for a much cooler spot.

I am told that some of the earlier A to B controllers did not have the inbuilt cooling fan - does your have one or did you add it in afterwards?

regards

MickMike and Poppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14252646448078744534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-725926446980545183.post-67025173858811408102013-01-14T12:45:55.442+00:002013-01-14T12:45:55.442+00:00Hi Mike. Also, since fitting my AtoB I tend to have to have alternators repaired at the rate of one a year. Usually voltage regulator failure. Watch out for that. I've got some bits and pieces to duct cool air to them from the bilge area. They do get quite hot!Geoff and Magshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13766994382229800306noreply@blogger.com
